WINNING AT SOUTHWELL

A great day for the syndicate, what a buzz it is when your horse wins, some horses never win a race so always pleasing when they get their head in front. She may run again next wednesday as she will miss a penalty. What a great ride from young Connor Murtagh and the result for the whole of the home straight never looked in doubt.

Lady Turpin was given a great ride today to win by 3/4 length hand and heels by Brian Mchugh. She took the lead around 2 furlongs to go and battled up the hill to beat the favourite.

A FINE START TO THE SEASON WITH A PLEASING 5TH. SHE WAS BUMPED IN THE LAST FURLONG BUT STILL ONLY FINISHED 4 LENGTHS BEHIND THE WINNER. THE STEP UP IN TRIP REALLY SEEMED TO HELP. THIS SETS HER UP FOR SEASON AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO HER NEXT RUN.

Hamilton race

A nice start running 7th of 9 she was green and outpaced early on but ran on well. Tony Hamilton rode and while he said she was flat out, she stayed on and showed a good attitude and will be better over a distance. She is learning still and Richard will be looking at what is available in the next couple of weeks or so. She was fine this morning, just a little sore. It's
